Our Chefs

The two brothers Christos and Stamatios Simiakos opened the MEDICI restaurant in February 2004 and set new standards for restaurants in Frankfurt City.

Both Chefs, born and raised in Gummersbach, trained and worked extensively in Michelin-starred and well-known restaurants across Germany – the AIDA cruiseliner, Hotel Bachmair am Tegernsee, Alfons Schubeck (Munich), Joerg and Dieter Mueller (Sylt and Schlosshotel Lerbach), Hans Peter Wodarz as well as Eckart Witzigmann to name just a few.

Today, the Simiakos brothers combine their experiences together with their new, creative ideas into a ‚modern European‘ cuisine.

The team

A team of young and motivated chefs assist Stamatios and Christos Simiakos back of house every day. This team listens to the wishes and suggestiosn of our guests and creates daily specials to pamper your pallate.
